Classical art is divided into two parts the Greek and the
Rome. Greeks considered humans the center of universe. Humanity, reason and
nature were important to the Greeks. They made vases and it is decorated with
geometric patterns. This vase has many purpose they can put the ash of the dead
people, can put a wine and other stuff. They also made sculptures of their
goddesses and athletes. In Greeks architecture there are three orders the
doric, ionic and corinthian. These orders became the basic grammar of western
architecture.
Roman art includes architecture, painting, sculpture
and mosaic work. Sculpture was the highest form of art by Romans. They made a
head of a roman and it looks like real. The facial features was very detailed
and it is more realistic. They also made temple, buildings, and
monuments. They made a colosseum also known as Flavian Amphitheatre it is
the greatest work of architecture and engr. they use it for battles.
This artwork is inspired from Greek art and I made
this art because I actually addicted to jars this past few days. Ofcourse not
just because of that and it is because in this era this art I appreciate the
most. It is designed by a woman working on loom.
